FACTORY MUTUAL SYSTEM APPROVED FOR METAL ROOFS
FM approvals is a leader in certification and approval of roofing products and roof assemblies. Product approval is based on performance testing of completed assemblies when subjected to multiple perils. A typical Approvals program includes fire testing for above and below the deck, wind uplift testing, hail-damageability testing, accelerated weathering and corrosion resistance of ferrous metal parts.
ICC Astec Reply Roofing Systems are FMR approved under FM 4470. "Approval standard for class 1 Roof Covers" for metal roofs.

MIAMI-DADE BUILDING CODE COMPLIANCE APPROVED
Building components, including roofing systems and those which protect the envelop of the building from being breached, must be approved by the BCCO Product Control Division prior to their use in building construction or rehabilitation. The Miami-Dade County Product Control Approval System was established to allow new and innovated ideas to be developed into useful, practical, lasting and safe products.
Manufacturers submit technical documentation, including but not limited to test reports, engineering analysis and installation procedures. Our staff reviews the information and determines whether the submittal is sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the Building Code.
